WHAT CITY CARES ABOUT SPORTS
MORE THAN ANY OTHER CITY IN AMERICA?
The Museum of Sports would be a permanent, interactive museum celebrating America’s greatest teams and athletes. It would be one of the world’s only museums celebrating all major sports and located at the Philadelphia Sports Complex. Look for more information as Comcast-Spectacor and the Phillies reveal additional details of their $2.5 billion development at Broad St. and Pattison Ave.

Exciting Plans for 2026-'27 Opening
The Museum of Sports would house world-class collections of priceless memorabilia, a high-tech array of digital, virtual reality and hands-on ‘edutainment’ activities for families and schools, plus retail outlets for snacks, collectibles, and memorabilia.
Hear it. Feel it. Breathe it.
Entering the Museum will be an experience in itself. You’ll hear the sounds of the game, become immersed in the action, smell the peanuts and hot dogs and thrill to the game’s sights and sounds: Crowd roaring, crack of the bat and the old organ exhorting the crowd.
Philadelphia Area Sports Halls of Fame
An interactive database kiosk will identify each Hall of Fame inductee, presenting their biography, statistics, photographs, audio and video. One unique media experience will encourage visitors to enter their own local sports memories, which will then become part of a multi-screen “sports quilt.”
